Apple delayed the international launch of the iPad in order to satisfy high consumer demand in the US where the tablet was reportedly out of stock in many outlets. However, there is some good news for all iPad lovers as Apple has now announced the International availability of its highly anticipated device for nine more countries. Apple iPad is now available for sale in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK from Friday, May 28, 2010.Apple has given timeline for nine additional countries where the device will be available by the month of July. But there is still no good news for iPad lovers in India as this magic slate seems no where in sight to be released soon in this part of the world. Apple plans to release iPad in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore in July. However, Apple will announce availability, local pricing and pre-order plans for these nine additional countries at a later date.The iPad received phenomenal response in the US since the day it was launched and the company claimed that Apple has already sold over one million iPads within a month of its launch. Furthermore, the iPad users have downloaded over 12 million apps from the App Store, as well as over 1.5 million ebooks from the new iBookstore.Apple's iPad allows users to connect with their apps and content in a more intuitive way than ever before.
