As per a recent press release published on the Airtel website, Apple iPhone 3GS is soon going to be available to the Indian consumers in the coming months.
The announcement comes close on the heels of Bharti Airtel's recent bid submission in a bandwidth auction for third generation, or 3G, mobile telephony services in India.
The final list of key players who have submitted bid to participate in the 3G spectrum auction process include Aircel Limited, Bharti Airtel Limited, Etisalat DB Telecom Private Limited, Idea Cellular Limited, Reliance Telecom Limited, S Tel Private Limited, Tata Teleservices Limited, Vodafone Essar Limited and Videocon Telecommunications Limited.
