HTC launches two new flagship devices, the Touch Diamond2 and Touch Pro2 Windows Mobile smartphones

At MWC 2009, Taiwanese mobile manufacturer HTC officially announced the HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC Touch Pro2. Both the Touch Diamond2 and Pro2 devices use the latest TouchFLO 3D interface, using a customised version of Windows Mobile 6.1, designed for the easiest navigation seen yet.
The Touch Diamond2 features a 3.2-inch 480 x 800 TFT display plus a 5MP autofocus camera. It boasts up to 500 hours battery life on standby, up to 340 minutes talk time and up to 150 minutes video call time.
The Touch Pro2 features a slightly larger 3.6-inch and Straight Talk technology, a feature geared towards the business user that allows the phone to become a conference room-style speakerphone just by flipping the device over.
It also features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Both the handsets will be made available in the European market first in the second half of 2009. Aisa availability including India is not known yet.
Out of the two handsets the Touch Diamond2 is the first handset to hit the shelves, while the Touch Pro2 will be available early summer. Here are some more detailed specs on the two flagship phones:
