Some of the users have reported 'freezing' issues while using iPad2’s FaceTime application. It seems that the images displayed by the forward-facing camera on the iPad 2 are causing the application to crash.

As of now the only solution to the problem is to simply restart the device, which can be quite annoying.

One user commented on the forum stating, "a simple restart seems to remedy this FaceTime-freeze bug, but it is still quite annoying for users all the same." While another user echoing similar sentiments said, "restarting the ipad fixes the problem, BUT, it happens again with in the next two to three times i go to use it."

Apple is yet to comment on this bug, till then iPad users will have to face (time) the freeze !

We don't need to worry about this bug, it will be surely ironed out by the time iPad 2 reaches India. Though there is no official word on when it will happen. Tomorrow iPad 2 will be officially launched in 25 countries and following April in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore. We hope our number comes soon!
