Ever wondered what you fury friend thought of you? Well the key to understanding has been revealed bu none other than the godly google itself. In what is one of its kind application, google's android app, Translate for Animals, helps translate what your pet says in simple and plain english.
According to Google, to develop Translate for Animals, they worked closely with many of the world's top language synthesis teams, and with leaders in the field of animal cognitive linguistics, including senior fellows at the Bodleian Library in Oxford.
How it works is quite simple. Simply download Translate for Animals, from the Android Market and click on the app icon menu to open it. The app then opens a translate box and a drop down menu appears, where you can select your animal. Since google is still working on the app, the choices are restricted to cat, dog, bird, rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, tortoise, horse, chicken, sheep, donkey, and pig.
Also the app will translate what your animal is saying only in english. Again google is working on this too and plans to extend the translation facility to Mongolian, Hindi, Cantonese, and Pig-Latin.
Before you are off to your cats and dogs ( or whatever you house) to record their sounds, read Translate for Animals instruction to get accurate translations. Like it very important for the animal to be calm and don't forget to thank your pet for the conversation and provide encouragement.
While google hopes that Translate for Animals app helps you gain a better understanding of your pet, it does not take any responsibility if you are offended or disappointed by what your chosen animal may say. Also there are no guarantees that it will be stimulating conversation either.
It is rumored that google is also working on another app , Translate for Humans, that translates what you are saying to your pet.
