Sony Ericsson launches Arc and Play on April 7th in India

Great news for mobile enthusiasts in India, Sony Ericsson is launching its most anticipated play phone, Xperia Play aka the PlayStation phone on April 7th. Giving company to the playful phone is Xperia Arc.

We had recently posted that the two Android 2.3 Gingerbread devices will be hitting India soon as we had spotted the pre-order for both these phones on Flipkart.com.

The PlayStation phone and the Sony Ericsson Arc have gained quite popularity in recent months since they were announced.

The Android phones come equipped with 1GHz processors, masses of storage and those all important Android Gingerbread tweaks. As we mentioned before that both the devices will be launched on Android 2.3, so you’ll be one of the premier members to join the Android 2.3 club - in statistical terms just 0.4 per cent of handsets are Gingerbread ones at present.
