Apple’s iWeb, a desktop-based website designing application is expected to be coming to the iPad 2 as per the recent reports.
According to Patently Apple, who reports that Apple is planning to patent an iPad-version of its excellent performing desktop-based website designing application.
iWeb for iPad would join Pages, Numbers and Keynote in Apple’s growing arsenal of iPad-based publishing tools.
According to Patently Apple, in a recent patent filing Apple lists the apps that have been designed to work with gestures and more specifically touch screen displays like the iPad. The list includes productivity apps such as Keynote, Pages, Numbers and iWeb.’
And who’s in charge of this new patent? Apple's UI Design Manager Christopher Weeldreyer.
The popular application might be in the patent stages at present. But, still Apple lists it in with the other ipad-based publishing apps, which means that either it could be coming to the next iPad model.
It must be considered as an excellent development from inside Apple HQ.
