A latest application naming Drop has been released by Nokia recently, for transferring photos and links from a browser to a Symbian smartphones.
It will also allow the Nokia mobile phone users to customize their phone's homescreen wallpaper. Moreover, now you can enjoy reading an article over the phone without even writing the long web address.
The renowned global handset brand may have opted Windows Phone as its future smartphone operating system, but even then it is still engaged in improvising the doomed Symbian.
Drop is compatible with Symbian version 3 and S60 5th Edition based smartphones. There is a browser extension provided for Mozilla's Firefox 3.6 and 4.0 as well as the Google's Chrome 10. The Drop's icon may not appear in Firefox 3.6 automatically after installation, which can be added manually.
After this you will be able to change your gadget's homescreen wallpaper, send pictures or send links to their device. This excellent application also allows you to send a wide variety of content between browsers and handsets.
