Samsung's flagship Galaxy S II and two recent versions of its Galaxy Tab, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1, are all set to reach the Indian shores by this month as per the official Twitter account of Samsung Galaxy India.
For a quick recap, The second edition to Samsung's successful Galaxy S series device, the Galaxy S II boasts of a 4.2-inch Super AMOLED display, 8 megapixel camera with 1080P video capture and version 2.3.1 of Google's Android OS, aka Gingerbread.
Announced at MWC 2011, both the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets run on Android 3.0 and have a touchWiz UX software layer by Samsung to further optimize the end-user experience.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a WXGA 1280×800 display, a 1GHz dual core processor, high speed multitasking, 1080p HD video playback, front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video calls with longer battery life.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also comes equipped with a dual core processor and 10.1 inch TFT LCD screen with crystal clear resolution (1280 x 800). It has an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with auto focus and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera.
There's no word on pricing or exact launch date, but we expect the devices to appear very soon at the stores in India.
