LG India to launch LG Optimus Pad in June

LG recently announced that its highly awaited tablet device, the Optims Pad, will enter the Indian markets in the month of June. The LG Optimus is presently available in Japan, where NTT DOCOMO introduced this device last week.

According to a report published on the Economic Times, this LG tablet may cost around Rs. 30,000, but the price may vary depending on the currency valuation and import duties during the time of launch.

The Optimus Pad works over Android 3.0 Honeycomb and sports an attractive 8.9 inch display that provides excellent view with 1280 x 768 pixels. Nevertheless, the device also offers 3G, Wi-Fi, 3D video-recording, and a dual-core processor.

The company claims that it will be the first tablet device with a 3D camera, which is capable to capture 3D images or video footage for viewing on 3D TVs or YouTube 3D.

LG has recently launched LG Optimus 2X and LG Optimus Black and plans to launch 10 new smartphones this month as well.
