There is speculations that Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be reaching the Indian market in July. The news comes in light of the recent announcement by the company about the launch of its super slim tablet in US on June 8, 2011.
Normally after hitting the US shores the products hit India next in about couple of weeks time. So all those who have been excitedly waiting for the tablet to arrive the wait is three months long.
The Android Honeycomb tablet comes equipped with a dual core processor and 10.1 inch TFT LCD screen with crystal clear resolution (1280 x 800). The tablet sports a 2 megapixel front facing and a 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with auto focus.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is priced between $499 to $599, roughly around Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 depending on the 16GB or 32 Gb version that you want. In India however the prices will be higher by the time they hit the shelves.
So yes this fine beauty will be quite pricey, but is it worth the buck? Totally!
Samsung recently also unveiled its flaship devices from the Galaxy S series, the Samsung Galaxy S II. Sporting android 2.3, 4.2-inch Super amoled display, 8 megapixel camera with 1080P video capture the device's USP is its 1.2GHz processor.
On their Samsung Mobile facebook page, the company wrote," We know that lots of you have been asking about the launch date of the Samsung GALAXY S II. It will be released in April and then gradually rolled out in each market according to the local launch timetable.We will provide more details via this fan page once they become available."
So, the India launch date has not been confirmed and there is speculation around whether the dveice will carry the 1.2GHz processor upgrade or not.
But we expect the Samsung Galaxy S II to hit the Indian market by May-June followed by the new Galaxy Tab by July.
