Samsung's latest creation Samsung Replenish has now been officially unveiled by Sprint. It's the world's first ever eco-friendly Android handset. This Green device is developed using recycled plastic and it gets charged by solar charging battery cover.

The Samsung Replensih is a Sprint ID enabled phone, which allows users to download eco-friendly apps and various other mobile contents.

The Samsung mobile phone looks a little bit like Motorola Droid Pro, having a bar style shape and is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard for easy and faster text input.

The Replenish comes with a beautiful 2.8-inch QVGA touch screen that supports (240 x 320 pixels) 256k colours. Its dimensions are 60.96mm x 121.92mm x 12.4mm and weighs 116 grams, that makes it a bit heavier in weight.

This smartphone runs over Android 2.2 (Froyo) and comes installed with a capable 2-megapixel camera. It is embedded with a a strong 600MHz ARMv6, MSM7627-2 processor and also has 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM.

The Samsung Replenish also supports Wi-Fi and GPS, moreover there is a Bluetooth 2.1 provided for connectivity. For better storage space it allows you to expand its memory up to 32GB using a MicroSD card; however, it already includes 2GB data storage.

The 'Green' gadget has a 1160 mAh battery to offer long hours of backup. It will be available in some western countries from May this year, but whether this device will arrive in India or not is not yet confirmed.
