Toshiba to unveil Regza tablet with Android 3.0

Japanese manufacture of advanced electronic products, Toshiba has announced its brand new Android 3.0-based Regza Tablet. The device was first showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in January in Las Vegas.

The Regza tablet features a 10.1 inch screen, similar to the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The device sports a front-facing 2-megapixels camera and a rear-facing 5-megapixels camera.

The other key features of the Regza tablet include Tegra 2 (1GHz) CPU, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. If further offers a USB plus SD card slot and an HDMI port. Weighing 765g, the device comes with LED backlight and 7 hours of battery life.

There is no official word on the pricing or exact launch date of Toshiba's Regza tablet, but it is expected to be launched first in Japan in June end and later on to the other countries.
