The Japanese electronics giant, Sony has today unveiled its latest creations Sony S1 and Sony S2 tablets. These new devices works over Android 3.0 'Honeycomb' OS and are basically developed to access PlayStation content.
As per the Sony official, Kunimasa Suzuki, both S1 and S2 tablets will provide easy access to online content to buy and download music, videos and many more. It will also be compatible with existing PlayStation games.
The company states in brief they have designed these two tablets for media entertainment, basically focusing on mobile communication and entertainment.
These are also capable to download digital books and allows you to read on the multimedia computers compatible with Wi-Fi and 3G/4G.
The new Sony S1 sports an elegant looking 9.4-inch screen and front facing as well as rear camera. However, the other one is a folding clamshell tablet. The Sony S2 features a dual 5.5 inch colour touchscreens.
Sony S1 is capable to be used as a universal remote to control various audio-visual equipment or to transfer the content to television screens or music to wireless speakers, according to Sony officials.
The company is focusing over games and music through hardware platforms comprising game consoles, tablets and smartphones.
However, still there is no word about their worldwide launch or when it will be coming to Indian market.
