Samsung has unfurled a brand new fleet of devices in the Indian market. Although, the Samsung-branded Google Nexus S was announced earlier, now Samsung has officially released its new line up of Galaxy series smartphones in India.

The Google Nexus S runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Reportedly, the Google Nexus S is the first Samsung device to offer a 4-inch super clear curved LCD screen and near field communication (NFC) technology.

The other key features of the Nexus S include a 3-axis gyroscope to provide good control over future games, 5-megapixels camera, Wi-Fi hotspot and access to over 1.50 lakh apps and widgets on the Android market.

Samsung has now also introduced its new and extended Galaxy family to the Indian smartphone users. The company has unveiled five new Android-based Galaxy smartphones — Samsung Galaxy Pro, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Pop and Galaxy Pop CDMA.

The Google Nexus S is now offered at a price of Rs. 29,590 in India. While, The Samsung Galaxy Pro, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Pop and Galaxy Pop CDMA are priced at Rs. 13,750, Rs. 17,040, Rs. 11,870, Rs. 12,290 and Rs. 10.500 respectively.
