Almost a year after the launch of Apple iPhone 4, the long awaited White iPhone 4 has finally debuted in US and UK. The other countries where Apple plans to launch the device today include:
Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan and Thailand.
Reportedly, the delay in the launch of White iPhone is explained as: "it was more challenging to manufacture While iPhone 4 than they actually expected. Due to this reason, they might have not released it at the same time when they launched the device with its black version."
The date for launch of this beautiful white phone was postponed to July 2010 and later on pushed to late last year. Whereas, last month the company confirmed that the most awaited white iPhone 4 version would be released this spring.
Mr. Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide product marketing, said in this release: "The white iPhone has finally arrived and it’s beautiful. We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we’ve worked to get every detail right."
Now after this release, rumours are coming that the iPhone 4’s successor may not be released this summer. Apple usually launches its new iPhone versions in the month of June. However, the recent speculation is giving an idea that the upcoming iPhone 5 may not be announced before autumn this year.
The pricing of the White iPhone 4 models are standard as that of the black model. The 16GB white iPhone 4 is priced at $199 and the 32GB white iPhone 4 will cost $299.
After the launch of the Apple iPad 2, India is eagarly waiting for the long due iPhone 4. Let's see when the White iPhone beauty will reach in the Indian market.
