The first video ad of RIM's new tablet device BlackBerry PlayBook has been released. Already available in Canada and the US, the PlayBook will soon foray into the other global markets.
The BlackBerry PlayBook sports a 7 inch WSVGA capacitive LCD touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core processor, Blackberry OS based on QNX software and dual cameras - 5-megalixels camera on the back and a 3-megapixels camera on the front for video calling.
The BlackBerry PlayBook comes with Wi-Fi feature available at an entry level 16GB model costing $499, whereas the other more expensive models with 32GB or 64GB are priced at $599 and $699 respectively.
As Apple has now unveiled its iPad 2 in the Indian market, we expect that RIM will follow suit with the launch of BlackBerry PlayBook in India.
