The power-packed Motorola Atrix 4G has now officially arrived in the UK market. The Android-powered Atrix is now available exclusively with the Orange network in UK from today. The Motorla's dual-core smartphone will be available from today with the Orange’s network.
It is the first smatphone enabled with fingerprint recognition technology. The Atrix comes protected with Biometric fingerprint security. It simply means that the device will only unlock when the owner's finger is placed on the reader. Yes, somewhat similar gadget that James Bond used in Tomorrow Never Dies.
The smartphone features a 4 inch qHD display and it offers 960 x 540 pixels screen resolution. The latest Atrix is equipped with Android 2.2 operating system and an extremely powerful 1 GHz dual core processor. The Atrix 4G comes in the dimensions of 117.75 x 63.5 x 10.95 mm and weighs 135 grams.
The device is integrated with dual cameras, the main 5-megapixels camera fixed at the back panel to offers clear images and videos and another VGA camera on the front side for video calls.
The new 4G device is highly capable for HD Video playback and recording. When it comes to social networking it offers direct connectivity to sites like Facebook, Picasa, Twitter, MySpace,YouTube and G-Talk.
The Motorola smartphone also offers excellent connectivity features like Bluetooth v2.1, Micro USB 2.0, Wi- Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS. It includes an amazing music player that can play almost all the popular formats. The device allows you to enjoy Instant Messaging, SMS, MMS, Email over the phone at a great ease.
This smartphone also integrates Mobile TV live, Adobe Flash player and 3D Graphics hardware accelerator. Other than that, it comes with a powerful Li-ion 1500 mAh battery that renders hours of talk time.
For storage, the device offers a 16 GB internal memory and 1GB RAM. Its storage space can also be extended using an external memory card up to 48GB, which really makes it a pocket PC.
As per Metro, the device is being sold free of cost along with a 24 months contract. The subscription plans for this phone are starting from £35 per month, which offers the users 600 minutes of talk time, a 750 MB data usage and also unlimited texts.
