HTC Bliss 'Android Phone for Women' spotted online

The reports are coming that the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer is working to develop an Android-based smartphone, targeting the female demographics with its HTC Bliss smartphone.

Reportedly, the device is expected to be introduced by Verizon around the year end. The brand is trying a distinct approach, which includes more than just adding pink colour to the smartphone with the new Android OS.

However, this is not the final name decided by the company for this handset, the rumoured Android smartphone for women can come with some new name. It will be sporting a greenish shade, that is supposed to have a soothing effect on the handset users.

Moreover, the back panel of this phone will offer a greenish-gray rubberized plastic to give women a better grip over the phone.

When it comes to the design, the smartphone will look pretty much like the HTC Desire and Desire Z mobile phones and that will be around 0.5cm thinner.

The Bliss will come equipped with a camera, but the megapixels count is still under wrap. At the same time, the front-facing camera will be there or not is also still a mystery.

Although, there is no information about the version of Android OS going to be there in this phone, HTC is planning to integrate shopping comparison and calorie counting apps into this beautiful phone for the females. It is expected that a few more apps would also be added to this device, which women users might find very useful.

The handset will preload an excellent array of accessories like a wireless charging dock and built-in speakers. The device’s accessories will include a Bluetooth headset as well.
