The most awaited Apple device of this year is around the corner. Apple iPhone 4 is all set to reach the Indian market courtesy Airtel. Although, there were many reports carried earlier about the possible launch of this device on different network such as Airtel, Vodafone and Aircel, finally here's something official.
Airtel is now offering the pre-registration of the brand new Apple iPhone 4 through its official channel. This means that within weeks the device may make entry into the Indian market on Airtel network. Reportedly, there are some online rumours suggesting that the device may come as early as May 12.
The Apple iPhone 4 comes equipped with iPhone 4.0 (iOS4), Retina display with 960 by 640 resolution and two cameras. It features a front-facing 5-megapixels camera with autofocus, built-in LED flash and 5x digital zoom.
The device offers 720p HD video recording and video calling with FaceTime, proximity, light and camera light sensor. It further boasts of dual-mic noise suppression, Apple A4 processor, MMS and voice control options. Preloaded with a Safari browser, the new iPhone 4 has folders for apps, iBooks, one-tap access to everything via home screen and iTunes Store.
The iPhone 4 is optimized for multi-tasking that enables users to browse the web, send messages while listening to music. The upcoming Apple smartphone adds a gyroscope to the accelerometer for the gaming enthusiasts. The new iPhone 4 in black as well as white colours will be launched in India in the coming days.
