Samsung is ready to roll out Android 2.3 update to a series of new launched Galaxy series devices. Samsung wil be releasing the Android 2.3 update for its new Galaxy series smartphones such as the Galaxy Tab, Galaxy S, Galaxy Ace, Fit, Gio and Mini or Pop.
These updates will be available from this week in some countries. It will start from UK and Nordic countries and will carry on to other European markets, Southeast Asia, the Middle East Asia, North America, Africa and to all across the world.
As Samsung is forwarding the update through Samsung Kies, so get ready with Kies set up on your PCs to get the update as soon as it starts entering in your country.
According to the official press release sent by Samsung, the Gingerbread update would bring faster performance and upgraded usability for a more intuitive experience on to the Galaxy line of gadgets.
Well the Gingerbread update for the new Galaxy series devices in India will take some time to be functional in this part. But, we expect early release for the Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab as these devices were launched long time back in India.
Gingerbread is the latest version of Android, which is the main attraction among handset users these days. Most of the smartphone manufacturers are now offering this updated version to the users on their well performing Android devices.
Recently, Google has also announced its next version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS, but there is no official word on the inclusion of this OS on any upcoming smartphone or tablet device. Meanwhile, get ready to enjoy the Gingerbread update over your new Galaxy devices.
