Fly E140 and Fly E146 touchscreen phones launched in India

Fly Mobiles has recently unveiled two new entry-level touchscreen devices at extremely affordable prices in India. Fly E140 and Fly E146 is designed to attract the younger generation in the Indian market.
Fly E140 comes preloaded with 7.1cm QVGA display, 1.3-megapixels camera with digital zoom and video recording and and FM radio. The device offers webcam, Bluetooth with A2DP, video recorder and player, audio player and card slot.
The other key features include JAVA, Nimbuzz, Snaptu, Opera Mini browser, Motion Sensor games, E-mail, PC sync supporta and image viewer. The handset offers up to 9 hour of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time to the users.
"We recognise the importance of social networks in the modern mobile industry. The design and functionality of our touch-phones meet the needs of a highly digitally connected and style conscious youth audience. The two new handsets are specially targeted to Indian youth which likes to carry a phone to complement and enhance their lifestyle," Fly India CEO Prem Kumar said in a statement.
The next touchscreen device Fly E146 sports 7.6cm WQVGA display, 2-megapixels camera and loads of special features. It comes equipped with audio player with equalizer, JAVA, GPRS, WAP, Nimbuzz, Snaptu, Opera Mini, Motion sensor, webcam and mobile tracker.
Preloaded with 7.9MB internal memory, the device offers expandable memory of 8GB. It promises up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time. The Fly E146 has speaker phone, MP3 ringtones, video recorder with player and FM radio with scheduled recording.
The Fly E140 is priced at Rs. 3,200, and the Fly E146 model comes at a price tag of Rs. 3,600 in the Indian market.
