Nokia X7 coming to India by next month

Nokia is all set to launch its latest smartphone Nokia X7 in the Indian market. The smartphone will come equipped with the newest version of Symbian operating system, called Symbian Anna.

We are planning to launch X7 in this quarter in India as per Nokia spokesperson, reports The Mobile Indian. However there is no mention of exact launch date of the device.

The Nokia X7 has been positioned by the company as an entertainment smartphone and it features a big 4 inch AMOLED screen that displays up to 16 million colours with 640 x 360 pixel resolution. The device also promises high quality sound output.

The Nokia X7 smartphone sports a brand new look and comes with a better fluid gesture movement interface feature. Besides, Symbian Anna also offers an advanced browser, which is expected to be three times faster than the earlier introduced ones.

The X7 will be coming with pre-installed 8GB memory card, which can be upgraded to 32GB, where as it already has an internal memory of 320MB functioning as its RAM/ROM. The storage of this device makes it somewhat like a small PC in your hand with almost similar features that your laptop or PC has to offer.

Its display is made of Corning's Gorilla Glass that gives it a protection cover against minor scratches and breakage from accidental falls. Nokia has made it using a stainless steel shell to make it more stronger, which will increase its life too.

The gadget provides next generation connectivity features like Pentaband 2G/3G network, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi support and much faster Bluetooth 3.0 and USB connectivity. There is a powerful 1200mAh battery installed in this Nokia smartphone to render up to 450 hours of standby and 4.5 hours of talk time on 3G networks.

The upcoming Nokia X7 is expected to cost around Rs. 25,000 in the Indian market.
