One of the globally acknowledged electronics and mobile phones manufacturing company, Sharp has recently developed Aquos Hybrid Android phone, in association with Japan's MobileBank. Featuring 16-megapixels camera, the Aquos is a complete water proof device.

The company has recently announced its Aquos Hybrid 007SH, an Android phone that is not just any ordinary touchscreen phone. It comes with a good mix of smartphone as well as feature phone design with some excellent specs and new attributes, which should probably draw some attention towards the brand.

The Sharp's smartphone runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and is designed with a full number pad and directional pad for easy navigation. The most interesting part is its 3D-capable 3.4-inch large screen that supports 854×480 pixel resolution and it suports an attractive and a completely waterproof design.

There is a swivel on the touchscreen due to which it can close to display the screen on the outside. The smartphone also sports a 16-megapixel camera on the back, which is highly capable to provide crystal clear images as well as videos. The device comes in various designer and different colour back covers.

The Sharp Aquos Hybrid will show 3D without glasses, similar to the few upcoming Android smartphones. Besides, the device also offers an infrared port, Blu-ray connectivity, a Micro HDMI display, a Micro SD slot, a digital TV tuner, and can act as a digital wallet using RFID and Felica.

As of now, there are no words about its launch in India. We will keep you updated about the handset as soon as we get any further information about this device.
