Toshiba Thrive tablet pre-booking starts

Toshiba, one of the leading high-tech electronic and electrical products manufacturing company, has recently unveiled its new tablet device - the Thrive.

Toshiba first unveiled its Honeycomb tablet back at CES, without naming the device. The device impressed everyone through its powerful as well as exciting features. The device is now dubbed as Toshiba Thrive. It comes equipped with 10.1 inch display, 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. Besides this, the gadget is powered by excellent NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor.

There is a 5-megapixels rear camera and a 2-megapixels camera on the front for video chat, installed in the marvelously designed tablet for clear images and videos. Toshiba has also come with something that we have yet to see for a tablet before, which is its replaceable backings. Such backings are made of rubberized material and are available with a nice design, also it feels nice in the hands.

The company will be providing these tablets in two different versions, 8GB and 32GB. The upcoming Toshiba Thrive 8GB will be costing $450, which seems reasonably priced according to its features and specs. However, the people who need a bit more internal storage space and don’t wish to use external memory card, can opt for the 32GB version, which will be costing $579.

The latest upcoming product Toshiba Thrive is pretty impressive due to its excellent features and reasonable prices. There are number of brands coming up with their Honeycomb tablets in the market, but its great to see a Brand like Toshiba initiating this trend.
