The Windows Phones 7 is upgrading with about 500 updates to the operating system, according to Microsoft who has recently announced this achievement.
The new updates in the Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system are named as the Mango update or Windows Phone 7.1, which was announced in New York yesterday.
The company sent the invite saying that they’ll "lift the curtain on the next major release of Windows Phone 7", there wasn’t any doubt about what’s going to be unveiled, it was pretty clear that it must be details surrounding Windows Phone 7′s next big update, “Mango”.
The company also expressed hopes that developers would create fun applications around the live tiles, the widget kind of appearance, which creates the Windows Phone home screens extremely attractive. The live tiles also ensure the handset users to link to a deeper page of an app from the home screen itself, which will provide easy access to the them.
"Helping people communicate is an important part of what Microsoft does and Skype will help it achieve that goal," the company stated. Also, Nokia will be reportedly bringing the first Mango-flavoured Windows Phone 7 device in the coming months.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, at the event told, this next update should bring “over 500 new features” to Windows Phone 7. Of course, a “feature” here could be simply described as anything from “massively awesome overhaul” to a “slightly louder beepy noise when you receive Facebook requests”, so we’ll have to wait and watch that how this all actually works.
We hope this is really very good news for all the Windows Phone 7 users, who were desperately waiting for this launch.
