Nokia India has now officially launched two new dual SIM mobile phones Nokia X1-01 and Nokia C2-00. Both the handsets are capable to remember the settings for up to five different SIM cards.
The new Nokia devices come with dual SIM and dual-standby, which allows you to receive notification of calls as well as messages on each network, without any need to switch your SIM cards on and off.
Both these handsets are inexpensive and provide excellent battery life. The Nokia X1-01 renders up to 43 days of standby time and 13 hours of talk time or even 36 hours music play. Whereas, the Nokia C2-00, boasts to deliver 19.2 days standby time, with 5.75 hours of talk time.
Nokia X1-01
The new Nokia X1-01 is developed focusing music features and it is equipped with a big speaker on the back. Nokia claims that this is the loudest and clearest speaker that they have ever made up till date.
The X1-01 provides support for up to 16GB of external memory via MicroSD card. The mobile phone comes integrated with FM radio, an MP3 music player with dedicated music keys, 3.5mm jack for personalized music and a Torch.
Besides remembering the settings for up to five distinct SIM cards, the Nokia X1-01 also allows its users to give each SIM its own logo, music signature or even ringtone. The Nokia music phone runs Series 30 operating system.
Nokia C2-00
One of the most interesting features that the Nokia C2-00 offers is its SIM card placement, offering Easy Swap. You can place one SIM card internally just like any other handset, on the contrary you can place the second card in the slot provided on the side of the covering, externally. This allows you to change or remove the other SIM without switching off your handset.
The Nokia C2-00 runs over Series 40 OS, that provides some key advantages in the form of internet access, a web browser and Nokia Messaging for email.
The new Nokia handset comes with a VGA camera and offers MMS messaging. Moreover, it supports up to 32GB of storage using an SD card, which makes it convenient for the users to carry thousands of images, videos and music files.
The Nokia X1-01 and Nokia C2-00 will be available very soon in the market at an approximate price of Rs. 2,300 and Rs. 3,000 respectively.
