China-based G'Five has been constantly in news recently for its promised low cost Android phones and tablet devices. The company now seems to have prepped up its budget tablets as per the reports doing rounds online.

As reported earlier, the Vice President of G'Five, Jaideep Chopra, commented, "We are ready with the product; we are just waiting for the right time to introduce the device. The pricing will be competitive with what is available in the market."

Reportedly, G'Five is ready to launch Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows OS based tablet devices in India by end of June this year. The most noticeable part is the price range offered for its tablet devices. The G'Five tablets will hit stores at a price below Rs. 10,000 in the market.

"G'Five plans to launch its range of tablet computing devices in Indian market by the end of June 2011. We strongly believe that the benefit of the technology should not be limited to a few but must be available to the masses," Arshit Pathak, Managing Director, Kingtech Electronics India said.

Kingtech Electronics is fully owned Indian subsidiary of G'Five International. G'Five has always been a popular brand in rural India and in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, but the company rose to prominence (read media) ever since International Data Corporation (IDC) in its Q3 2010 report declared G'Five as the second largest selling mobile phone brand in India after Nokia.

"Both the Android and Windows-based tablet computing devices shall be launched in India. These shall be Wi-Fi and 3G powered and the price range will be below Rs. 10,000 - shattering the price barrier once again," Pathak added.

The company has plans to launch two 7 inches and 10 inches in size Android base tablet PC. The Windows model will be 10 inches in size, reports The Financial Express. Additionally, G'Five Android phones at budget prices are also in the pipeline as per reports carried earlier.

G'Five is expanding its footprints with many new initiatives. From conducting feasibility study for mobile phones manufacturing in India to setting up stores, it plans to extend the warranty of its devices from basic 365 days to 500 days.

The company is further planing to enrich its portfolio with the launch of other consumer electronic products in 2011, including net books, laptops, music boxes, digital photo frames and other such products.

G'Five unveiled its 10 new exclusive stores with the brand name of Mobispot recently and it is working to to open 500 more stores all over India shortly.
