Sony Ericsson's upcoming phone, Cybershot picture has been leaked online. The picture is blurry with just amount of light to make out the words 'cyber shot' market at the bottom of the device.
It seems cybershot will be powered by Android, most likely froyo and as evident from the picture it will be a touchscreen phone. Sony folks have been producing some stunning range of camera phones, with their latest being the Xperia Arc and Play in India.
In addition we have seen some other smartphones from HTC and Samsung also support some pretty good camera. On an average these days most of the smartphones come equipped with descent cameras to snap in quick pictures and in such a scenario Sony will have to really pull something rather stunning to grab the attention of the buyers.
According to Pocket-Now, Sony's cybershot might be a runaway success. According to the website, ‘the Cyber-shot is a powerful brand among imaging aficionados and many others and it looks like Sony Ericsson is bringing the brand back, this time in a combination with Google’s Android, which might turn out to be a real success.’
There is no further details on the specifications of the Android Cybershot shot device. We are speculating the device will probably support a camera of 12-megapixels or even above to compete in the market and get the attention of the mobile users who are big on taking pictures.
Sony Ericsson recently launched a Facebook contest to review a brand new phone. The contest page features Sony's latest devices the Sony Ericsson txt pro and Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman™ phone. Apart from this Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini and Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro are also lined up for release in India soon. Xperia Mini supports some high-end specs that includes a powerful 1GHz Snapdragon processor and the new gingerbread version. Embedded with an LCD flash and can record 720p HD video, Xperia Mini has a lot to offer.
