HTC Wildfire S available for pre-order, launch imminent

The smartphone market in India is busy these days accomodating a fleet of new high-end devices launched almost every day. The HTC Wildfire S is going to be the next device to search a place for itself within the crammed smartphones shelves in the stores.

Already, the device is available for pre-order on couple of leading online retailers website in India. Reportedly, the Wildfire S is expected to hit the shelves pretty soon in the Indian market.

The HTC's latest Android smartphone has already been released in some countries and it is now heading towards Indian market. Letsbuy.com is already offering this device for pre-order through its online portal. The smartpone is priced at Rs. 13,999 on Letsbuy.com.

HTC Wildfire S is the successor of earlier released HTC Wildfire, which was a mid end Android phone from the brand. This second edition of Wildfire comes with improved specs that include Android 2.3, 600 MHz processor, 512 MB RAM and 3.2-inch display with 320 x 480 pixel resolution and an effective 5-megapixels camera with Auto Focus and Flash.

This HTC smartphone comes with a full touch screen and in a bar form. It comes in the finest dimensions of 101.3mm x 59.4mm x 12.4mm. Not only this, but its powerful battery also renders an excellent backup of up to 7 hours 10 minutes on 2G networks and up to 5 hours 50 minutes on 3G networks.

Letsbuy is currently promising to ship the handset within 4-7 days, while HTC has not yet confirmed its exact date of launch. It is expected that  the Wildfire S will be officially announced very soon in this month.
