The Finnish mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia has recently unveiled its latest Symbian smartphone Nokia C7 Oro, which means Gold in Italian. The device comes in attractive gold-plating and it will be priced at the higher end.
Nokia officials said that the Oro is targeted at the Middle East and Russia. "We have a large number of users who are looking for products with a build quality and superior materials that attest to their success and social standing," General Manager for Russia, Gabriel Speratti claims. "In some areas, possession of such premium products is the passport to being taken seriously."
The new entrant Nokia Oro is designed using 18 carat gold and has a home button that is made using sapphire crystal is completely scratch resistant. The smartphone comes with an attractive screen which is 3.5 inch large AMOLED touchscreen, offering a resolution of 640x360.
Besides, the luxury phone comes integrated with an efficient camera of 8-megapixels and has a dual LED flash, which can record videos in 720p. The fabulously designed Nokia Oro includes an 8GB of in-built memory that can be extended up to 32GB, using a MicroSD card support.
The Nokia C7 Oro is a premium segment handset, which is focused over the users who desire exclusivity and not the attributes and faster performance.
Nokia has plans to initiate the shipping of Oro by Q3 in between July to September this year. We hope it will reach in India by this year only. The upcoming phone C7 Oro is expected to be priced around Euro 800 or Rs. 50,000.
