iPhone 4 has entered the Indian smartphones market finally. India's most preferred telephone operator Bharti Airtel today unveiled the popular Apple iPhone 4 in India.

Yesterday we wrote about Aircel bringing iphone 4 by midnight to the mobile users with its money back value and we were delighted to see similar budget packages offered by Airtel too.

Airtel has priced the iphone 4 16GB at Rs 34,500 and 32 GB at Rs 40,900 respectively. The company is also offering 50 per cent savings each month to the users.

The plan offers are very flexible and range from Rs 600 to Rs 2,000 depending on the mobile users preference.

Mobile users opting for the Rs 2,000 pack, will save Rs 24,000 over a period of two years. Those option for under Rs 2,000 pack will get 1,900 minutes of Airtel to Airtel calls and 1,350 MB of data at 3G speed. In addition to this users will also be offered 2,000 local SMS at no charge.

The Rs 600 plan will get mobile users 550 minutes of Airtel to Airtel local calls, 500 local SMS and 300 MB of 3G data.

The iPhone 4 is designed with a much more sleeker and stylish look than its predecessors. The latest Apple iPhone includes a gorgeous 3.5 inch screen with 640 X 960 pixel resolution known as the Retina display, which makes it highly irresistible and suitable for FaceTime for video calling.

The phone has got a new and improved iOS 4 operating system, which allows fantastic attributes like spell check, folders, iBooks, multitasking and a huge number of exciting new features.

This touchscreen smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel camera, which offers crystal clear images and videos as compared to previous version. 

The iPhone 4 also offers excellent connectivity features such as Bluetooth, HDMI, Wi-Fi and GPS. The gadget is capable to render a fabulous 7 hours long talk time on 3G networks, with 6 hours of back up on 3G browsing, 10 hours of back up on Wi-Fi browsing, 10 hours of back up on video and 40 hours of music playback.

This is probably a great news for all the Apple admirers in India. But wait a second did we just hear that iphone 5 may be launched at the upcoming WWDC 2011.
