ASUS introduces Eee Pad Memo 3D Honeycomb tablet

Published on May 30, 2011

ASUS has now officially unveiled its new Eee Pad Memo 3D
tablet, which is based on Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS. The extremely gorgeous device is equipped with 7-inch display. The newly launched ASUS tablet comes with a glasses-free 3D display that makes it highly attractive.

The company has also put stylus support in this device, which allows the users to use a stylus and use MeMo 3D as a notepad quite like the HTC Flyer does. ASUS will also provide a Bluetooth headset with the device that will assist users in making and receiving calls, thus making it clear that the Eee Pad MeMo will be having cellular connectivity.

According to ASUS, "The ASUS Eee Pad MeMO 3D is designed to be an alternative take on the 10 inch tablet that is fast becoming a standard size. This portrait-oriented device has a 7 inch multi-touch screen that can be used in the usual way with Android Honeycomb applications, but there’s also the added twist of stylus support, so users can opt for handwriting input and treat the MeMO 3D much like a digital notepad."

The Android 3.0 based tablet comes equipped with MeMIC Bluetooth hands-free headset, which makes it suitable for listening to music and making calls. The users of this tablet can enjoy games, movies, photos and a lot more in 3D interface.

At this point of time, the company has only revealed this much info about the tablet, however the full specs sheet, price and other details of the Eee Pad Memo 3D tablet have not been yet disclosed.

Stay tuned as we will keep you posted on the details of this upcoming 3D tablet from ASUS as soon as we come to know more about it.
