It's raining tablets at the annual Computex trade show in Taipei. The tech firms are showcasing their latest innovations and amazing devices at this event. The latest one to join the bandwagon is a dual OS tablet from the US firm ViewSonic.

Forget dual SIM, dual camera, dual screen devices - we are now migrating to a new dual OS tablet world. California-based visual technology firm ViewSonic has officially unveiled the world's first device which comes integrated with both Windows 7 and Google's Android platforms.

"While iPad users are aimed for entertainment, our new machine has functions more than that," Kai Wang, a ViewSonic product manager, said during a news conference on the eve of the five-day event.

ViewSonic briefed about their latest tablet device that it is powerful in both hardware and software. Also, it allows for an instantaneous switch between the two OSes without turning off the tablet – Android for simple tasks such as Web browsing and Windows 7 for business applications.

Weighing slightly more than 830 grams, the ViewPad 10 Pro comes equipped with Intel’s Oak Trail Z670 1.5GHz processor, 3G, 32GB Internal storage, 3500 mAh battery and dual cameras.

The ViewPad 10 Pro will first hit the Taiwan market at a price of $799 and will reach Asia Pacific in July.
