'A Twin's Day Out' for Nokia X1-01, C2-00 dual SIM phones

Announced a week back, the dual SIM Nokia X1-01 and Nokia C2-00 mobile phones are all set to hit the stores in couple of days. The company has already rolled out TV ads to promote its device and has added a short video on the YouTube as well.

There's going to be 'A Twin's Day Out' event happening in Delhi on the 4th June. As the name of the event suggests and online reports doing rounds, it is expected that this event may introduce the upcoming Nokia dual SIM phones along with some other announcements in India.

Both these devices offer a unique SIM card placement via Easy Swap feature. You can place one SIM card internally just like any other handset, on the contrary you can place the second card in the slot provided on the side of the covering, externally. This allows you to change or remove the other SIM without switching off your handset.

The new Nokia X1-01 comes with big speaker and the device claims to have loudest and clearest speaker to date on any Nokia device. It remembers the settings for up to five distinct SIM cards and also allows its users to give each SIM its own logo, music signature or even ringtone. The device runs Series 30 operating system.

The other dual SIM device, Nokia C2-00 is Series 40 based device that offer internet access, a web browser and Nokia Messaging for email. It offers VGA camera and MMS messaging. The device can  support up to 32GB of storage using an SD card

The Nokia X1-01 and Nokia C2-00 are expected to price around Rs. 2,300 and Rs. 3,000 respectively.
