There is good news for iphone and ipod touch users. Apple's groundbreaking productivity app, iWork suite has now being officially made available on both these devices.
Those unaware of the power of the apps will be in for a surprise, as such powerful and functional thing have not been seen on a mobile device before. The apps are full versions of what can be seen on the iPad which was released last year. Created for the Mac, the programs underwent major transformation to adapt to the iOS and Apple’s revolutionary Multi-Touch interface.
Apart from iWork, Apple has also launched other productivity apps like Keynote, Pages and Numbers. The apps are quite revolutionary and provide users with the ability to work efficiently. Using Keynote, Pages and Numbers, users can create and share presentations and powerful spreadsheets, export and import documents from iWork for Mac and Microsoft Office and take quick print outs using AirPrint.
According to Apple the apps also provide a much improved document management tools that allows the users to organize files into folders, and a navigation feature dubbed "Smart Zoom.
These three programs will run on devices powered by iOS 4, including the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and the third- and fourth-generation iPod Touch. Apple's iWork apps and other applications are now available through the iTunes for $9.99 each.
Apple's personal computers, Macs are one of the most preferred computers, in tandem with OS X, iLife and iWork. It therefore does not come as a surprise that the company continues to registers profit and is leading the race in both the devices and the tablets market.
The Apple's WWDC conference will be held next week and all the eyes will remain glued to this year's big announcement by Apple - will it be iphone 5 or icloud?
