Microsoft has officially previewed the latest Windows 8 operating system at D9 conference yesterday. Besides, the company also introduced its slate tablets and smartbooks running over Windows 8 operating system at Computex.
Earlier reports have also indicated that Microsoft will introduce its Windows 8 operating system this month and now company has officially rolled out its new upgraded OS version. The Windows 8 supporting devicess will be working on ARM processors from NVIDIA, Qualcomm and Texas Instruments.
Last month there were some rumours in the air that Microsoft has plans to take a more Apple-like approach to interface design. Moreover, it might be borrowed from its Windows Phone 7 through incorporating several concepts from the "Metro" interface.
Just like, Windows Phone 7 is available packed with a full version of Internet Explorer 9, the Windows 8 will come packed with hardware-accelerated Internet Explorer 10.
Windows 8 is expected to be much faster and advanced then its predecessor Windows 7, and is expected to bring some other improvements too.
Let's see what else Microsoft has to offer in the coming days. We expect an array of new tablets supporting the newly launched Windows 8 OS soon.
