Huawei to unveil MediaPad this month

Huawei MediaPad is touted as the smallest and lightest tablet to be released so far by the Chinese manufacturer. The sneak peek of this device is now available on various online resources.

There is not much information available on this upcoming Huawei MediaPad. The company is teasing its new product with the byline: 'next generation smart device' which is the smallest and lightest tablet so far.

Reportedly, the MediaPad may include a 7 inch screen, run Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS. However, the official specs are still under wrapped so nothing is much confirmed about its details. The MediaPad is expected to be launched this month as early as June 20, reports Eurodroid.

The Chinese company is best known for its entry-level and budget handsets. The company has introduced couple of Android-based smartphones in the Indian market.

Huawei has entered Indian smartphone market recently with the launch of its budget Huawei IDEOS Android phone on Aircel Network. The company has earlier announced Ideos X3 and S7 Slim tablet at MWC 2011 event.
