HTC is the top Android vendor

HTC's senior official Peter Chou has claimed recently that the company is the leading Android vendor. At the Uplinq conference, organized by Qualcomm in San Diego, USA, he stated that the company shipped 25 million devices in the year 2010 alone.

Besides this, Chou also spoke about the company's growth plans of and the development of HTC Sense. Meanwhile, he asserted that the HTC will remain committed to Windows Phone 7 to offer the customers  an option to choose from these two most preferred smartphone operating systems.

Not only this, but he also spoke about the HTC's Sense user interface and how it would make the brand's gadgets more easy to operate. The latest interface the animations will be smoother than earlier and even the lock screen will offer some useful info to the device owners.

The latest lock screen appears to be inspired by Windows Phone 7 user interface, where live tiles provide updated information to users without any need to launch the apps again and again. The Sense user interface is substantial to HTC, as it assists the company in differentiating its devices from others in the market.

HTC is partnering Onlive, a streaming video game service that will allow Onlive to offer streaming gaming services on HTC devices.
