Apple has been recognized as the poster child for innovation and the launch of iCloud further strengthens Apple's image in the technology world. The Apple's iCloud services will bring the biggest change to not only the iPhone user experience but also how users will use iOS devices going ahead. Providing a breakthrough set of free new cloud services, iCloud automatically and wirelessly stores your content in iCloud and pushes it to all your devices like iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or PC. It's simple list of apps reflects changes on one device across all the other devices. To simplify, when you buy your favorite songs on a iPhone, it will be reflected across all your other devices like a iPad or a Mac.
Here is why we think iCloud will conquer iPhone user hearts
No more Sync-ing
It's been quite frustrating and not to mention a laborious task for the iPhone users in the past to sync their music onto their iPhones. This gruesome task will now be eliminated thanks to the iCloud. Using iCloud users can sync all their content like files, apps, data, pictures and videos across iOS devices, Macs and PCs. Essentially all the devices will be able to communicate with each other and seamlessly move content across. The iCloud eliminates the need to plug in your devices to either a Mac/PC. The introduction of iCloud might as well as be the 'death of the Mac/ PC'.
iTunes
We are familiar with itunes, but now using the iTunes iCloud you can download your previously purchased iTunes music to all your iOS devices at no additional cost. In addition to this now music that is not from iTunes can be matched using iTunes Match. The iTunes match replaces your music with a 256 kbps AAC DRM-free version across its 18 million songs in the iTunes Store and makes it ready for you within minutes. Apple has reached an agreements with the major music labels to allow iTunes purchases to be shared on all of user's iOS devices. According to jobs, "this is the first time we've seen this in the music industry -- no charge for multiple downloads to different devices."
Computer Free
Freedom from your laptop - imagine the possibility of not needing your computer anymore. Using the iOS 5 on your iPhone, users can now sync your iTunes content over Wi-fi network and download new iOS updates without having to connect to iTunes first. Also whether it is listening to a particular song or watching a movie you no longer need to search it on your laptop. Simply tap into your personal iCloud to access all the media and entertainment tools. Apple's iCloud literally takes pocket entertainment to a whole new level.
Back up and Storage
iCloud Back up, automatically backs up all your important stuff - those cool angry birds games or anniversary pictures and more every day that too over Wi-Fi when you charge your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. This service will store all documents created using iCloud Storage APIs, and automatically push them to all your other devices. Users get up to 5GB of free storage for their mail, documents and backup—which is amazing since the storage for music, apps and books purchased from Apple, and the storage required by Photo Stream doesn’t count towards this 5GB total.
Security
Now you don't have to worry about losing your iPhone, documents, music or your priced photos ever again. The iCloud will store all the contents of your devices safely on remote servers which you can access from anywhere, anytime and through any iOS device. Apple's iCloud will bring a sense of reassurance that should your home be broken into, your stash of CD's and DVDs that you have build over years through sweat and money is safe and sound.
Apple's iCloud is shaping up to be the consumers' cloud, a cleverly marketed concept that leaves competitors like google and amazon far behind in the cloud computing race.
