Motorola's rough and tough smartphone Wilder coming this July

Motorola has recently announced its upcoming smartphone Motorola Wilder, which is expected to be rolled out by next month. This rugged smartphone is creatively designed with water and dust resistant features.

The handset pretty much looks like an inexpensive version of Motorola Defy. The Motorola Wilder is focussed over the social networking platforms, as it integrates the several social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and some others.

Most of the handset users have appreciated Motorola Defy due to its dust and water proof feature. The company's latest device Wilder packs 2.8 inch TFT resistive touchscreen display and also a secondary OLED display at the bottom, which is a small screen offering 1-line Command Line Interface. The smaller display is only provided to show the notifications such as incoming calls, messages and some other updates.

The Motorola Wilder appears to be an affordable handset; however, the price is not yet confirmed. The device comes equipped with a 2-megapixel camera placed on the back side with focus. The Motorola phone is embedded with an inbuilt FM radio, music player and a good number of pre-loaded games such as Need For Speed and Tetris for the entertainment of the users.

The direct access to social networking sites will keep the users busy as well as connected to their virtual world friends. The Wilder's 910mAh battery offers up to 9.6 hours of talk time and up to 255 hours of stand by time.
