Panasonic is planning to introduce its latest Android-based tablet device, expanding its Toughbook array of laptops. This upcoming 10.1-inch tablet is not focused over the retail market, but it is focused over industrial and commercial sectors.
These tablets are highly capable to work in almost all kind of environmental conditions, It is a rough and tough device, which easily adjusts in all weather conditions.
The Toughbook is targeting "mission critical government personnel, highly mobile field forces, SMB's looking for a competitive edge, security conscious IT managers and bottom-line focused CFOs," as per the Panasonic officials.
The Panasonic gadget will offer a 10.1 inch XGA multi-touch display, however, it is not expected to be so glossy like other consumer tablets. In place of that it will provide users a clear view of the screen even in bright sunlight.
The company is going to provide GPS feature in this Android tablet and full-shift battery life, including "professional-grade accessories and optional embedded 3G mobile broadband connectivity".
