Apple iPhone 5 is constantly in the news these days. Be it the leaked images or speculated release dates, the device has managed to keep the gizmo lovers and netizens busy with the guessing game. It has yet again managed to stir the curiousity of avid Apple fanboys as some fresh details of this device have emerged online.
First of all the rumour mills are abuzz with the launch date of the new Apple iPhone 5 smartphone. There are reports online suggesting that the Apple's next iPhone version is going to be launched in the month of September this year.
Then there are other rumours about the specs of this upcoming device. The iPhone 5 may come integrated with an A5 processor and a more powerful chipset with the handset, somewhat the same as that already available on the new iPad 2. Some sources are also suggesting that the device will bring an 8-megapixel camera in place of a 5-megapixel one that Apple offered in the iPhone 4.
In addition to this, there is news that Apple is also testing a new version of the iPad, which sports a higher resolution screen. The screen of this device is expected to be quite similar to the iPhone 4's screen.
The upcoming iPhone will run the iOS 5 operating system, that company previewed at the developer's conference recently. This new OS will attribute some amazing features like improved messaging and photo-sharing. Also, the new OS is designed to support all the Apple mobile devices, as per online reports.
Furthermore, Apple is trying to come up with a cheaper version of the iPhone focussing over customers in the developing countries. This upcoming smartphone will be integrating chips and displays similar to the current iPhone 4.
Other than that Apple is planning to offer a smaller and lower-priced version of the device. About the looks, it is said that the iPhone 5 would closely resemble the recently released iPhone 4 in India. Whereas, it is speculated that there are chances that the new OS would not support the older versions of the iPhone.
