Pre-order starts for HP TouchPad
Published on Jun 23, 2011
Hewlett-Packard has recently started taking prior orders for its upcoming TouchPad tablet. The device is slated to be launched in the United States of America on July 1.
So, for those who don't want to hear that the device is out of stock and don't want to wait any more, they can pre-book their TouchPad device in advance. If you wish to pre-book the HP TouchPad WebOS tablet then you can do it now. With the launch of this new HP tablet, another thing is making a debut and that is WebOS operating system.
The upcoming device from the brand HP is its TouchPad, which is coming with Wi-Fi connectivity. This new tablet will be available in two different variants that are 16 GB and 32 GB. The tablet device comes with additional accessories such as HP Touchstone charging dock, a wireless keyboard and a case, though optionally.
However, the TouchPad will have to cement its place in the expanding tablet market by competing with the strong competitors like iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola XOOM, HTC Flyer and BlackBerry PlayBook. However, the company seems very confident about the capabilities of their upcoming tablet.
Jon Rubinstein, senior vice president and general manager, Palm global business unit, HP stated, "What makes HP TouchPad a compelling alternative to competing products is WebOS."
He also added, "The platform's unmatched features and flexibility will continue to differentiate HP products from the rest of the market for both personal and professional use. This is only the beginning of what HP's scale can do with WebOS."
We hope, if you were waiting for this device, here's your chance to pre-order HP TouchPad.
