RIM silently unveils three new smartphones

The BlackBerry maker Research In Motion has announced its three new smartphones - BlackBerry 9360 (Curve), 9810 (Torch 2) and 9850 (Torch Monaco).

RIM has recently posted all the information about these new BlackBerry phones at its Blog post, where the company has also written about the new BlackBerry OS 7 screen resolutions.

The smartphone brand announced its BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 devices, sporting touchscreens and BlackBaerry OS 7 just a month back at RIM's event, BlackBerry World 2011.

One of them is BlackBerry Curve 9360, which is codenamed by the company as Apollo. The device sports a 2.44-inch screen with 480 x 360 pixel resolution. Curve comprises of a powerful 800 MHz Tavor MG-1 processor with a 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB eMMC storage space. The BlackBerry smartphone has an 11 mm thick body and an attractive touchscreen. Besides, it also includes some other useful features like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, and NFC chip.

The other handset is BlackBerry Torch 2 9810, which the faster and improved version of its earlier released Torch. The new BlackBerry smartphone comprises a 1.2 GHz processor and 768 MB of RAM. Also, the handset sports an attractive 3.2-inch display, an 8 GB of onboard storage and an efficient 8-megapixel camera. This new phones also has WiFi, Bluetooth and an NFC chip.

Whereas, if we talk about new BlackBerry Torch Monaco 9850 model, then we have not much information as of now. But this handset is expected to have a 3.7 inch screen. We will provide you more details about this device as soon as we get.
