With the announcement of the new N950, Nokia has crushed the dreams of many users, who were excited about this handset. At the time of introducing this new phone at Nokia Connection 2011 event, company had made it clear that Nokia N950 is not meant to be for general sale but for developers only. This was actually a heart breaking news for many users.
Recently a teaser showing off this device has appeared online. Made by mobikenet.cz, the video demonstrates the functionalities of the device. Nokia's N9 looks almost similar to N950 but the major difference is N9 doesn't have a side sliding QWERTY keyboard.
In comparison to the N9, the N950 comes with a TFT LCD display in place of an AMOLED one, and is obviously thicker in size due to the keyboard mechanism. Besides, the new Nokia phone also comes with some other hardware variations. When it comes to software difference -it has a terminal mode and some other tweaks to suit developers trying to get their apps ready for MeeGo.
We are amazed to see how well the N950′s display holds its self in comparison to the clear black panels available in the N9. Nokia has warned developers that the new N950 will be provided to them without any warranty and service support.
