Huawei has been slowly and steadily making its presence in India. The company recently launched a budget Android-based tablet in the market. Dubbed as MediaPad, the 7 inch tablet is powered by dual core 1.2GHz processor with 1080p HD video playback and runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS. The new tablet device will sport a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, with auto-focus and HD video recording support. The MediaPad is the company's latest tablet device with updated Android OS after Huawei earlier announced its Android-based tablet devices Ideos X3 and Ideos S7 Slim at MWC 2011.
The popular telecom company has also introduced its new Ideos range of smartphones in the Indian market. The company earlier this month unveiled IDEOS X5, IDEOS X2 and IDEOS Chat smartphones. Priced between Rs. 8,000 to Rs 14,999, the devices are targeted towards the younger generation who want to get a taste of the google's Android operating system.
