A demo video has been spotted over the net, which is showcasing Skype for iPad. It seems Skype has developed the application supporting the Apple iPad, which it is going to release very soon.
Rick Osterloh, senior VP of Consumer and Product Design, Skype has mentioned at The Unofficial Apple Weblog that the latest Skype for iPad, is likely to be approved soon and may be released in the coming days. This upcoming App, might allow the iPad 2 users to enjoy video calls over Wi-Fi if network operators restricts 3G.
The Skype for the Apple tablet will feature the same functions as the present Skype for iPhone App, which includes chat, audio calls and video calls. Whereas, the bad news is, both iPhone and iPad will not get the file sharing attribute.
However, there is an important feature of the video chat, which is also known as FaceTime exists in the Apple devices like iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Mac products.
With the release of Skype app for iPad, most of the Google's Android based devices users will also be looking forward to get an application for Android tablets.
