Nokia rolls out updates for Symbian 3.2 and 5.0

There is a good news for all the Nokia handset owners. It is basically for those who are using Symbian phones and the news is Nokia is introducing updates to Sybian 3.2 and 5.0. You might be rejoicing to hear that your phone is going to feature some more attributes and some new functions will be added to your device.

It is true that Nokia is keep on working over introducing new Symbian platform and handsets like the Nokia X7 and E6, but still the company has not forgotten its older phones. Nokia's software team is still working hard to bring updates for their earlier released handsets, in order to improve their functionality and add some latest features, according to Nokia's official blog.

These latest updates will be targeted at few selected handsets working over Symbian 3.2 and Symbian 5.0 operating system, which are mentioned below:

Nokia's latest browser v7.3 is one of the main updates, it is the same one that will be available for newer Symbian based handset in the upcoming months with Symbian Anna. The new browser will give you a faster browsing experience, which is capable to support International Domain Names (IDNs). Moreover, it also supports non-ASCII letters like Arabic or Chinese.

Besides, the another updated attribute that you will enjoy on your handset is Ovi Maps. Symbian 3.2 devices, will be getting Ovi Maps 3 SR4, which will offer indoor positioning using WiFi. Also the travel and recommendation services like you get through Lonely Planet. While the Symbian 5.0 devices, will be receiving Ovi Maps 3 SR6 updates, which will simply add public transport lines and check-in services to the social networking sites.
