Apple rumored to release iPhone 5 along with iPhone 4S this September?

Apple products are usually gripped under a veil of secrecy which invariably lead to a lot of speculations and far more rumors. So after the launch of the iPhone 4, the rumors of the iPhone 5 promptly started erupting everywhere. From what to expect from iphone 5 to what iphone 5 looks like, there has hardly been any piece of this highly anticipated phone that has been left unspoken for.
The recent rumor that we caught is definitely the mother of all rumors. Well it seems Apple will be launching iPhone 5 along with its sibling, iPhone 4S. Yes you heard that right.
Deutsche Back analyst Chris Whitmore was quoted as saying that Apple iPhone 5 will be the successor to iPhone 4 and Apple will also be bringing in iPhone 4S which packs in the old design with minor tweaks. Whitmore further said that the iPhone 4S will be a unlocked version and come at a price range of Rs 17,000.
While it may seem quite out of character for Apple, analysts regard this as a smart move. According to them with Nokia and RIM struggling to gain market share, it is a fertile ground for Apple to aggressively enter the mid range smart-phone market and expand its share.
Apple's twin iphone move launch in September indicates its ambitious global strategy. According to PC Mag, Apple has increased its dominance in "the post PC world world of smartphones and tablets", capturing a market share of 18.2% of the world smartphone market and successful retail operation worldwide.
At present most of the good smartpohones come at a price point of Rs 20,000. Armed with a cheaper iPhone, Apple can definitely target both the Apple lovers as well those who would like to get a taste of Apple.
Many speculate that a cheaper iPhone 4S could come with some memory configuration. But don't worry Apple's recently unveiled iCloud services will in come in handy. iCloud offers 5GB of free storage when you sign up and Apple can leverage this offering in pushing the iPhone memory needs to the cloud.
Meanwhile there will be quite a bit of excitement around both the launches which is good for Apple, but the battle will not be easily won - as on the other side stand tough Android competitors Samsung Galaxy S 2, Motorola Atrix, HTC Sensation to name a few.
